Police briefs: Body found in water at Donkey Lane PDF Print E-mail

The body of a 47-year-old U.K. man was found in the water at Donkey Lane in Turtle Cove on Saturday, March 27, at about 5 p.m.

Police in Providenciales are carrying out inquires into the death of Ian Mark Crick.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

Two local men charged with theft to appear in court

Police in Providenciales have charged two Turks and Caicos Islanders with a theft.

Donahue Bassett, 39, and Lenard Wilson, 24, were charged with theft in connection with a report made to police on March 25.

Police investigating traffic accident, cyclist injured

Providenciales police traffic officers are investigating an accident that occurred about 8:25 p.m. on March 27 in which a bicyclist was injured in the vicinity of Provo Plaza.

Bicyclist Ryan Messey received head injuries and is in stable condition at Cheshire Hall Medical Centre.

Also involved in the accident was a white and black Mazda Tribute owned and driven by Janet Stubbs, who received no injuries.
