Police briefs: Two suspects in custody for shooting PDF Print E-mail

Police have two men in custody and are looking for a third suspect in connection with a shooting Oct. 7 in Kew Town on Providenciales.

A young man sustained a gunshot wound to his left shoulder during the incident, police said. He was treated at the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre for non-life threatening injuries.

Police said they were conducting and extensive search to locate a third suspect who is known to police.

Former business employee questioned about theft

The police Financial Crime Unit in Providenciales is investigating the theft of a quantity of cash from a local business.

Police said the incident occurred between January and August.

A former employee has been questioned in connection with this report, and he was released on police bail with a surety to return to the Financial Crime Unit.
