![]() ![]() Two Providenciales teenagers have been charged with the May 13 the robbery and murder of a 34-year-old British man, police said. Misael Castillo, 19, of Long Bay and Stanford Forbes Jr., 18, of Leeward Highway appeared in court May 23 and were remanded in custody on the charges relating to the death of Anthony Quinn. Quinn, a quantity surveyor for local construction company Projetech, was last seen alive leaving a bar in the Grace Bay area around 5 a.m. on May 13. His vehicle and body were found around 10 a.m. near the end of Technology Drive on the northeast end of Providenciales. Police have not announced the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Projetech said Quinn was a key member of the company’s team who had worked for Projetech since September 2004. “A single man originating from the United Kingdom, Anthony touched the life of a large part of the TCI community, not only in his professional life but also in social settings,” Projetech said in a statement just after his death. “His work ethic and integrity was flawless. “He was first into the office each morning and often the last man to leave. Anthony was a very peaceful and thoughtful person, and it is impossible to conceive that he would have made any enemies.” A memorial was held May 20 at the Catholic Church on Leeward Highway. Projetech issued the following statement May 23: “Family and colleagues would like to thank all those who sent condolences, flowers and attended Anthony’s Memorial Service on Sunday. The volume of support from the community was overwhelming, and we were all moved by the kindness of those who reached out to Anthony’s siblings, Mary and Paul. Anthony’s remains were flown home to London … and will be laid to rest Friday, May 25.” Quinn’s death is the first homicide in 2012 in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
