The countdown has begun for the first ever “Race for the Conch.”

With only a few short weeks to go, organizers and participants are getting excited about the upcoming event.

 The Sabai Spa at the Veranda Resort on Grace Bay is the newest spa in the Turks and Caicos located on the island of Providenciales, offering health, wellness and total relaxation.

What started as a multihull sailboat race among a few friends 20 years ago has grown into one of the largest events of the year on Providenciales.

Set for June 19 at the Bight Children’s Park, the 20th Annual Fools Regatta surely will draw hundreds of adults and children for music, food, drink, tug-o-war, raft races and six different sailboat races.

On Saturday night, Parallel 23 will be transformed into an open air opera hall for just one amazing evening of music and fare.
